Seametry Villas

Set on the wind-brushed slopes above Karystos, this project begins with a simple brief that became a guiding principle: two equal houses, independent in use yet inseparable in place. Rather than a single gesture split in two, we composed a pair of autonomous volumes that acknowledge each other across a shared ground—like twin notes held in harmony.

Both houses are identical in area, proportion, and amenity, ensuring parity for private use and effortless rotation into hospitality. They sit on a common stone plinth that terraces with the terrain, negotiating the gradient while stitching the ensemble into the landscape. Each volume turns to the Aegean with deep, shaded frames; between them, a calibrated void—half court, half passage—collects wind and light, offering orientation, arrival, and a quiet social threshold when desired.
